  • 3 December, we will return to São Miguel to end the tour.

What’s included?

  • All guided hikes
  • Accomodation on Flores, Corvo, Terceira and Pico islands (I can recommend places for you on São Miguel)
  • Breakfast (cooked by me!)
  • Transportation on/within islands

What’s not included?

  • Flights/transport to and between islands (I will advise on the best dates/times to book for the itinerary)
  • Restaurant/bar food (I will recommend the best restaurants I’ve been to on these islands)
  • Drinks and snacks (I will advise what to take each day, depending on the hike we do)
  • Third party experiences/tours (e.g. whale watching)
  • Personal travel insurance (I am fully insured as a guide to run this experience, but you need your own travel insurance as well).

What should I bring?

  • Two good quality rain jackets (yes, two!)
  • Two pairs of hiking shoes – not hiking boots, they don’t work well for the Azores (please ask me for more info if you need it, it’s important you have the right shoes for this trip)
  • Quick-dry tops/t-shirts and socks
  • A headlamp
  • Waterproof trousers
  • Hiking poles recommended
